Leg 27: Jukbyeon Lighthouse to Bugu Intersection

In a bid to put myself into a good position with the following two legs, which were rated as somewhat difficult, I decided to press on with this leg. I was quite tired, having already walked almost 40 kilometres. But it wasn't that far for this final leg and I felt I could do it.

However, there is really not much to say about it. It was walking along roads. Lots of them. And there was very little to see as I did. I passed trees... and an airport (behind a big fence)... and more trees. All while walking along a road. Hate to say it, but...

Boring. I did find a nice place to stay at the end of it all. I stayed in what were villa-type apartment buildings that were converted by the family that owns them into a motel. Nice. And they were situated right across a small river from yet another nuclear power generating plant. They need to work on their end points for the legs on this trail just a little bit.

Having walked almost 50 kilometres on this day, I was bushed. I found a place to get some grub and hit the hay early to try and get a good night's sleep. And I hoped my feet would feel a bit better. My new shoes are good, but 50 kilometres of pounding can outdo even the most comfortable shoes.
