Leg 26: Susan Bridge to Jukbyeon Lighthouse

After finishing the previous leg at Susan Bridge, the trail continued into the town and through an exposition area. There was a park and exhibition site... and some interesting sculptures. It was Children's Day, so the park was full of families out enjoying the wonderful weather.

A river blocked by a sand barrier to the sea provided some coastal scenery.

Then I got to cross this fish bridge. Pretty cool.

Then the trail headed up a hill and through a wooded area...

... before crossing through a city park...

...and returning to the sea.

And then the road began. The trail started following roadsides for quite a distance on the way to Jukbyeon Harbour and the lighthouse. It wasn't the most pleasant part of the day.

At length, the trail returned to the shore for a short period before entering the harbour area and winding up to the lighthouse. I was beginning to tire out, and I sat in the yard/garden/park outside the lighthouse for a while, deciding if I would continue on with the third leg I wanted to finish this day. I was really quite tired, but it was only going to be about 10 kilometres. What sealed it was that I was on top of cliff where the lighthouse was located. If I left off there, I was going to have to climb back up the next day. So I pressed on.
